    WEEKEND THERAPY
    IN NEW YORK CITY

    Self-care on the weekend

    Busy Schedule?

    Weekend Therapy in NYC

Take Time Out For Weekend Therapy

Therapy on the weekend is a good opportunity for individuals to recap their week and process things that may have happened or emotions that came up. Weekend therapy is also a good way to frame weekends as a time for self-care, which is a great mindfulness model to follow. Weekends are also typically less busy for most people, allowing you to not only invest in therapy but also create space for self-reflection. Use this time to consider what you want to bring to therapy and what you learned from your session.

We offer therapy on the weekend for those who do not have availability on weekdays, usually due to extensive travel or unusual work hours. Although we have a limited amount of weekend appointments, we want to work with you in finding a time that is best for your schedule.

Through consistent practice, like meditation, we become more focused on the present and understand our experience in the here-and-now. Mindfulness teaches us to shift our attention away from negative thought patterns that lead to the unsatisfactory and problematic thoughts and behaviors and move toward positive and meaningful growth. Mindfulness can be used alone or combined with insight-oriented therapy and CBT.
