Our Clarity Therapy team, a group of professionals dedicated to providing the best possible care for our clients and therapists. is responsible for ensuring that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
The team consists of our Director and Founder, Clinical Directors, Director of Operations, Office Manager, Content Specialist, Billing Specialist and Client Care Specialists.
Our Client Care Specialists are the first point of contact for our patients, and they play a vital role in making sure that our patients feel welcome, matched with, stay connected to their therapist, and assist in the process of insurance reimbursement and billing.
Dr. Logan Jones brings over a decade of experience as a Clinical Psychologist and supervisor to Clarity Therapy NYC. In addition to working individually with clients, his responsibilities at Clarity are focused upon directing the practice with the wish of “making the practice of therapy joyful again”. He does this by nurturing colleagues and therapists, helping them reconnect to the heart of their work so that they and their clients may thrive within a collaborative and expansive therapeutic practice in Manhattan.
Lucas is a psychotherapist and Clinical Director of Clarity Therapy NYC. Lucas joined Logan in 2019. He is passionate in his work with clients, particularly with the immigrant, Latinx, and LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, Lucas helps support therapists in their clinical work and the leadership team with operational and clinical projects. Through his own experience in working with clients and helping establish a group private practice, Lucas finds joy in helping other therapists discover their voice and create a sense of balance and community.
Kristin is a psychotherapist and Clinical Director of Clarity Therapy NYC. Kristin joined Logan and Lucas in 2019 As a licensed trauma therapist, Kristin's passion is bringing healing to people who have experienced traumatic events. As Clinical Director, Kristin supports the leadership team by streamlining new processes that keep therapist and client wellbeing at the forefront. Kristin enjoys guiding therapists through their transition into private practice with the know-how they need to thrive.
Dana Mierlak, BFA
Director of Operations and Billing
Dana comes from a background in the performing arts. Along with her artistic endeavors, Dana served as the Administrative Director of The Fostering Connection, a non-profit organization providing pro-bono psychotherapy to foster youth, for 8 years. At Clarity Therapy NYC, she supports therapists and clients as well as overseeing the billing department. Dana is dedicated to helping create an environment of ease for therapists and clients alike.
Lauren Palumbo, MA
Marketing Director
Lauren is a trained therapist who worked as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and certified addictions counselor in Washington, D.C. As Marketing Director at Clarity, Lauren oversees content creation, digital marketing, practice strategy and process, client and therapist experience, and creative projects including the Clarity Cooperative. Lauren is passionate about helping clients and therapists make new connections, both online and in person.
Brittany Houlihan
Office Manager
Brittany holds a Journalism degree from SUNY Purchase, and she’s honed her communication skills in a multitude of roles, all with a singular focus: delivering unparalleled client satisfaction. Having recently made the transition from office management in the physical therapy sector, Brittany now brings her expertise as the Office Manager at Clarity Therapy NYC. Passionate about bridging the gap between administration, therapists, and client care, Brittany is eager to create a warm environment and seamless experience for all. Outside of Clarity, Brittany enjoys game nights with friends and exploring new food and drink havens.
Rose Brenkus Guerrazzi
Client Care Specialist
Rose comes from a professional background in health and wellness holding roles in the spa industry. From Spa Director to Project Manager in luxury establishments, she’s pursued her passion for helping others. With an education in finance, she thrives in roles centered on analysis and data, striving to optimize guest experiences. As a Client Care Specialist, Rose aims to support individuals on their wellness journeys. Outside of work, Rose finds joy as a devoted mother and wife, cherishing moments with family and friends.
Sean Kent
Client Care Specialist
Sean comes from a diverse, creative background, having developed his skills as a writer/ producer for a diverse slate of clients including Fremantle Media, Barnes & Noble, and The Actor’s Fund. He also enjoys a deep connection to the NYC restaurant and theater communities, and was the Operations Manager at the much beloved Orso Restaurant on 46th Street for over a decade. Additionally, he is a freelance podcaster, full-time husband and father, and strong supporter of Clarity’s mission to bring accessible, affordable, and healing therapy to a broad spectrum of clients.
Belia Burnett
Billing Specialist
Belia is a retired Air Force Veteran with over 22 years of experience as a skilled medical technician. Throughout her military career, Belia honed her expertise in inpatient and outpatient care, excelling in clinical claims and submission. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Belia's vast knowledge extends from pediatrics to geriatrics, coupled with her proficiency in staff management and provider scheduling.
Debbie Jones, MBA, BA
Billing Specialist
Debbie brings over 30 years of experience in the medical field to her role as a billing specialist at Clarity Therapy NYC. With a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration and an MBA, she has worked with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. She's passionate about serving her community and has been involved with both Veterans and Caregiving Organizations. Debbie and her husband love to travel extensively and you can often find her on the road, exploring new destinations.
