As a licensed clinical psychologist, I help people move beyond stress, anxiety, and trauma so they can feel more present, grounded, and fulfilled. My approach integrates science-backed therapies—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions with a deep understanding of the human experience.
I also have specialized training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) from Yale School of Medicine’s Child Study Center, an evidence-based approach that helps parents guide their children through anxiety while strengthening your relationship.
Through our work together, you’ll be able to:
- Build stronger coping strategies
- Develop tools to manage stress and prevent burnout
- Create meaningful behavioral changes, from improving sleep to being more present with loved ones
- Find practical, research-backed solutions to feel more confident and resilient
My style is warm, supportive, and direct with space for humor and honesty. Clients often describe me as engaged, thoughtful, and curious. Therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, and free from judgment or pressure.
Diagnostic Assessments
In addition to therapy, I offer diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking clarity around emotional, behavioral, or neurodevelopmental concerns. My approach to assessment is thoughtful and collaborative, grounded in DSM-5 criteria, and attentive to each person’s unique history, current stressors, and lived experience.
Rather than feeling like a checklist or test-taking exercise, assessment with me is a conversational process designed to help you feel understood. Through a careful clinical interview and the use of evidence-based tools when appropriate, I work to develop a clear and respectful understanding of what you’re experiencing—so you can feel informed, validated, and supported in deciding what comes next.
When working with children and teens, I take a gentle, developmentally informed approach. I collaborate closely with caregivers and, when helpful, with teachers or other providers to gain a well-rounded picture across settings. My goal is to offer clear, compassionate feedback that helps families better understand their child’s strengths and challenges, and feel supported in choosing next steps together.
The assessment process may involve one extended session or multiple shorter sessions, depending on your needs, with written assessment reports typically provided within 2–4 weeks.
Even in difficult moments, there’s always a path forward. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to support you. Schedule a complimentary phone consultation today.
