I’m a pre-licensed clinical psychologist in New York City providing therapy to individuals who are struggling with anxiety, identity issues, adjustment issues, relationship difficulties, interpersonal and race-based stress.

My approach to therapy is grounded in warmth, empathy, and curiosity. Our work together will allow you to show up as your authentic self, feel safe, heard, and respected. You have the inner wisdom for healing and growth, and together we’ll build a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), in a way that’s both supportive and direct. I aim to create a space where you feel understood while being challenged to grow in ways that matter to you.

My work is collaborative and culturally attuned. Many of the people I work with have learned to exist in spaces that weren’t built for them. Here, you don’t have to hide, shrink, or edit yourself. Every part of your story is welcome. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, a stronger sense of self, and the confidence to create meaningful change.

The best part of my work is witnessing clients begin to see themselves with more compassion and less judgement. It’s incredibly fulfilling to watch someone grow into a clearer, more confident version of themselves. I feel honored to be in the room with each and every individual, because it’s a new opportunity to engage in authentic conversation and connection, working towards their goals.

As a black man and provider of color, diversity is often front of mind for me. By recognizing and appreciating my client’s individual differences I’m better able to validate every part of their identity. I welcome clients who come from different cultural backgrounds and approach therapy with cultural humility, allowing clients to inform me of their most salient identities and cultural experiences. I strive to create a space where individuals are allowed to be their authentic selves in the therapy room, and I want to cultivate that in our work together.
